Inn Policies

Check in time is anytime after 3:00 pm. Checkout time is 11:00 am.

Cancellation Policy:
A deposit is not required to confirm a reservation, however, a credit card number is needed and will be kept on file until checkout.  There is no cancellation fee assessed if a room reservation is cancelled at least 48 hours in advance.  If however the cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the reservation a $50.00 fee will be assessed.

Smoking Policy:
There is NO SMOKING allowed in any of the rooms or buildings. You are allowed to smoke outdoors and on balconies. Any guest violating the non-smoking policy will be billed an additional $500 per night for clean up costs to the room.

Our Policy on Children:
The Inn is regarded as a quiet escape and romantic getaway for most of our guests, and we work hard to foster that environment.  We can not permit children under the age of 16 except in special circumstances.  They do count as a guest in the room.

Our Policy on Pets:
The Copper Beech Inn has a "NO PET" policy.  This policy exists to ensure the safety and comfort of all our guests.  We ask for full cooperation and adherence to this policy and will not tolerate guests who are unwilling to comply.

​If an unauthorized pet is found on the premises a fee of $500 is due immediately.  Any property damage will be assessed separately and billed to the guest/ pet owner in addition to the $500 fine.  In the event that any harm or injury to other guests or employees of the Copper Beech Inn arises from having an unauthorized pet on the premises the guest/ pet owner will be financially responsible for any and all damages, including medical and legal fees.

Copper Beech Inn ADA Policy
Please be aware of the following statement before booking your stay. Due to the age of the inn (126 years), not all guest rooms have been retroactively fitted for handicapped accommodations. If you would like to book a room that is accessible by wheelchair or walking cane, we recommend room 215 in the Carriage House or room 311 in the Comstock House.
 ADA guidelines are constantly evolving and our effort to make our rooms comfortable and accessible is ongoing.
Please note that the guest rooms in the Main House are not fitted with the following, unlike the Carriage House and Comstock House: 

• ADA accessible routes to guest rooms;
• Doorways that provide at least 32" clear width upstairs; 
• Other essential features to accommodate persons with disabilities.​
